: Israel has called on the world powers to impose more sanctions on Iran. Israel’s foreign minister said on Tuesday he called on countries to impose sanctions on Iran’s missile program and ban the country’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. Reuters news.
In a social media post, the country’s foreign minister said – In addition to the military response to the missile and drone strikes, I am leading a diplomatic offensive against Iran.
Katz said he has sent letters to 32 countries and spoken with numerous opponents to impose sanctions on Iran’s missile program. He also called for the Revolutionary Guards to be declared a terrorist organization to stop and weaken Iran.
He added that we must stop Iran before it is too late.
Western allies, anxious to avoid an escalation of conflict in the Middle East, have urged Israel to exercise restraint. In the meantime, Israel has said that they will soon respond to Iran’s missile and drone attacks.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that discussions are underway with the G7 countries on coordinated action against Iran.
