Bangladesh-United States will meet tomorrow in the World Cup preparatory match

Bangladesh and hosts USA will meet tomorrow in their first official warm-up match for the T20 World Cup.
The match will start at 9:30 PM Bangladesh time at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
Bangladesh and USA recently played a bilateral T20 series. The Tigers lost the series to the United States by a margin of 2-1.
Bangladesh lost the series earlier by losing the first two matches in the United States by 5 wickets and 6 runs respectively. The Tigers fell shy of a whitewash against the United States after confirming the series loss. But by winning the third and last match by a big margin of 10 wickets, Bangladesh can avoid the shame of a whitewash against the United States.
Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto feels that Santana’s victory against the United States will increase the team’s confidence in the World Cup. At the award ceremony after the last match, Shanto said, ‘I think the boys have shown their ability in the last match. This win will give the team confidence in the World Cup. We know the conditions here and everything now. We got to experience everything. If we can take those experiences to the World Cup, it will be good for our team.
Apart from USA, Bangladesh will play a preparatory match against India. The Tigers will play their second and final warm-up match against India on June 1 in New York.
Like Bangladesh, USA will also play two preparatory matches. They will face Nepal in their second and final warm-up match in Dallas on May 30.
The World Cup will start from June 2. Bangladesh’s opponents in this year’s ‘D’ group are Sri Lanka, South Africa, the Netherlands and Nepal. The Tigers will start their World Cup mission with a match against Sri Lanka on June 8. Then Bangladesh will play against South Africa on June 10, Netherlands on June 13 and Nepal on June 17.
