Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned home from Bangkok after a six-day official visit to Thailand. He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 on Monday (April 29).
Sheikh Hasina arrived in Bangkok on the afternoon of April 24 as part of a bilateral and multilateral visit to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Sretha Thavisin. He was then given a warm red carpet welcome at Don Mueang International Airport. There he was given 19 times cannon fire and guard of honour.
Sheikh Hasina described the visit as part of a broader focus on ‘neighbourhood’ policies. Because, it has provided an excellent opportunity for the two countries to further renew the momentum of bilateral relations. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that this visit will go a long way in deepening the relationship between the two countries.
