Microsoft Corporation has announced the launch of passkey facility for all account users. Last year, Microsoft introduced Passkey in Windows 11 operating system. Now Microsoft account owners can create passkeys on Windows, Android and iOS operating systems. As a result, it is now possible to enter the Microsoft account from Windows, Android and iOS operating system devices very easily without writing the password.
Users can generate a passkey for their Microsoft account by entering this web address. Users can then select their Face ID, Fingerprint, PIN, or Security Key to sign in to their Microsoft account from the device. As a result, you can easily access the Microsoft account by following the chosen method without entering a password.
Microsoft’s corporate vice president of security compliance and identity, Vasu Jakkal, said that users can now sign in using a passkey to access Microsoft 365, Co-Pilot, and web browsers from desktop and mobile browsers. Passkey facility is now being used in accounts of all technology companies including Apple, Google, Microsoft. So far 40 crore Google accounts have been enabled with the Passkey feature. As a result, passkeys will be widely used instead of passwords in the future.
