Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to see the injured in the violence caused by the quota movement.
On Sunday (July 28) afternoon, he first went to the police hospital and then to BSMMU. At this time, he visited the various wards of the hospital, met the injured and inquired about their physical condition.
The Prime Minister assured all assistance to the injured police personnel for better treatment and speedy recovery.
He became emotional after seeing the condition of seriously injured law enforcement personnel and hearing about the inhuman torture. At this time, he is seen to be in tears.
At that time, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Secretary of Public Security Department of Home Ministry was with the Prime Minister. Jahangir Alam, IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun and Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Habibur Rahman.

Later, the Prime Minister visited the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University to see the injured in the recent violence. He inquired about the patients there.
Earlier, the Prime Minister visited the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (Pangu Hospital) on Saturday (July 27) morning to visit those injured in the recent violence.
The day before that, on Friday (July 27) afternoon, he went to Dhaka Medical College Hospital to see the injured in the recent conflict.
The protesting students and law enforcement forces including police, RAB, BGB and leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliated organizations have been involved in a deadly conflict since last July 16, centered on the quota reform movement.
