The Department of Health has reported the death of three people due to dengue infection in the last 24 hours in the country. During this time, 9 more patients were admitted to the hospital.
Earlier, one person died of dengue on April 18. In other words, after 15 days, the death of the patient with dengue was known.
The Health Department said that the three people who died of dengue infection in 24 hours till Friday morning, all of them are residents of Dhaka South City Corporation.
In the last one day, 7 out of 9 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals in Dhaka city. Apart from this two patients have been admitted in Barisal department.
With new arrivals, the number of dengue patients admitted to the hospital this year has reached 2,248. 27 of them died.
