Commenting that Jamaat-Shibir has squeezed the neck of anti-discrimination student agitators, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that BNP-Jamaat terrorists got an opportunity by squeezing the neck of this movement. He was joined by some extreme left, extreme right. It’s strange.

He said, our ultra-leftists are now slandering Shibir, slandering Jamaat. They are together now. strange society I do not know what their ideals, what principles? The prime minister said this during an exchange of views with leaders of the Chhatra League at Ganabhaban on Monday afternoon.

Awami League president asked who pays the cost of the movement and said, where do they get so much money from? Where did you get it from? The cost of their movement every day, who gave the money? The Prime Minister said, I worked day and night to bring Bangladesh to a place of honor, it was destroyed. This is the saddest thing.

He said, “They do their agitation and do not even think about where they drag Bangladesh down while belittling me.” If they had so much patriotism and sense of responsibility, they would not have done it. Sheikh Hasina said, the result of the movement is to spoil the image of Bangladesh internationally. Ruining the basic needs of the people of Bangladesh to give them a better life. That was done.

Referring to the attack on various government facilities, the Prime Minister said that they destroyed the works that were for the people one by one. My question is who are they doing this for? The Prime Minister said, my question is what crime did I do? To improve the quality of life of people, to provide food for people, to provide treatment, and to provide free treatment. My parents killed everyone. Even then, the fate of the people of this country will only change after bringing that pain to the chest, the people will be a little better. People will have a better life.

Highlighting the various developments of the Awami League government, he said, as a nation that won the liberation war, we should be able to stand tall internationally and walk with honor. I have brought that honor to Bangladesh. No one can deny it. Wherever you go today, when you hear the name of Bangladesh, everyone looks at you with respect and dignity.
