Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her determination to make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous Sonar Bangla in the spirit of independence on the Great Independence Day . After paying respects at the National Memorial in the early hours of Tuesday (March 26), he signed the visitation book.
Hon’ble Prime Minister wrote in the visitation book, Today is March 26, the Great Independence and National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh . On this day, I remember with utmost respect Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali of all time and father of the nation. I pay my respects to the martyrs of Bangladesh ‘s freedom struggle and liberation war and to the mothers and sisters who were victimized by the Pakistani invading forces. With deep pain and tired heart, I remember my mother Begum Fazilatun Nesha and my three younger brothers Kamal, Jamal, Russell who were martyred by the merciless bullets of the assassins on 15th August 1975.
He wrote, I pay my respects to the leaders of the Jatiya Tea who were killed in Dhaka Central Jail. Who were brutally murdered on November 3, 1975.
On this great day today, we will make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous Sonar Bangla in the spirit of our pledge-independence. Inshallah I wish all the people of Bangladesh a great Independence and National Day.
