Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Dr. An interim government was formed on Thursday (August 9) night under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus. At night, 14 members of the 17-member interim government took oath at Bangabhaban.
After this Friday, the Cabinet Department has issued a notification distributing the responsibilities of various ministries/departments. The notice shows the chief adviser. Muhammad Yunus will be in charge of 27 ministries including the cabinet department.
These ministries are – Cabinet Division, Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Food, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Lands, Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Railways, Public Administration Ministry, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Labor and Employment , Ministry of Culture Affairs, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Liberation War, Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
