Assistant Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser is Ashrofa Imdad

The chief adviser of the interim government. Ashrafa Imdad, a member of the 35th batch of BCS (Information-General) cadre, has been appointed as Assistant Press Secretary to Muhammad Yunus.

On Sunday (September 22), the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification appointing this Senior Information Officer (Grade-6) of the Directorate of Information.

The appointment will remain in effect till the Chief Adviser decorates the post or to his satisfaction (whichever occurs earlier), the notification said.

Ashrofa Imdad was currently serving as the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Before this, he served as an officer of the same ministry.
