Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that Bangladesh is going through a difficult political crisis. He made this comment in his speech as the chief guest at a book publication festival at the National Press Club in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

The publication festival of the book ‘321 Days in Feni as a Deputy Commissioner’ written by AFM Solaiman Chowdhury, Convenor of Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party, was organized. BNP Secretary General spoke as the chief guest.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir complained, ‘All political parties and civil society should come forward to save the country from the misrule of the government. The rulers have destroyed everything in the country. People want a change in this terrible situation.’

BNP Secretary General Fakhrul also said, ‘Many BNP leaders and workers have sacrificed in the movement. There are cases against 60 lakh BNP activists. 22 activists died. 700 activists have gone missing. The activists did not move away from the movement even in the face of a hundred adversities.’
