Call not to put extra pressure on the students

Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the parents and teachers to ensure that they can receive education through sports and various cultural activities without putting extra pressure on the students. He said, ‘Education is very necessary, but do not put any pressure on them in the name of this education. We now want them to learn their education through sports and various cultural activities. So that there is an opportunity to develop the latent talent and talent within him.’ The Hon’ble Prime Minister said these things while addressing the chief guest at the function organized on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day-2024 on Sunday. At this time, he also called on the parents and teachers to teach honesty and cleanliness from childhood, teach about national days, and give a proper understanding of road rules and traffic laws. The event was organized at the father of the nation’s mausoleum in Tungipara, Gopalganj. Sheikh Rehana, the youngest daughter of the Father of the Nation and younger sister of the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was present at the event. Sheikh Hasina said, ‘This is my request to the children of today, they should obey the elders, they should obey the teachers, they should listen to their parents, they should maintain a friendly relationship with their parents, then no one will go astray.’ Hon’ble Prime Minister said to the teachers and parents that honesty should be taught from childhood to stay away from terrorism, militancy, drugs, and corruption. Along with this, they should be involved with all kinds of curriculum, starting from music and reading, painting, and religious education. The head of government said, ‘I have this request to you, parents and teachers, to see that human qualities can be developed in them from childhood so that they should allow them to develop the latent talent and talent that these children have in them. can get, keep an eye on that too.’ Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Now digital Bangladesh. Now children can see the world in front of their eyes.  The children of today will be the “smart citizens of smart Bangladesh” of tomorrow. And that is what our government wants.’ He said, ‘I want every child of our country to have a beautiful, safe, and better life, that is what my government wants.’ State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Simin Hossain as a special guest and secretary of the concerned ministry Najma Mobarek gave a welcome speech at the event organized under the overall supervision of Gopalganj district administration. Hon’ble Prime Minister said, ‘Government has built Digital Bangladesh and wants to build a developed and prosperous Smart Bangladesh by 2041, which will be led by today’s children. In this way, we want to make them fit citizens to keep up with the world. At the same time, children’s sports and cultural activities should also be focused on.’ The Hon’ble Prime Minister strongly criticized the two-pronged policy of the so-called human rights organizations as Israeli forces targeted children and women in Gaza. Mentioning that Bangladesh is always on the side of the oppressed, the Hon’ble Prime Minister referred to the issue of providing shelter to more than 1 million people including displaced women and children during the conflict in neighboring Myanmar.
