Kate Forbes, President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), who is visiting Bangladesh, visited various areas of Koira Upazila of Khulna district affected by Cyclone Remal. During this time, he visited the ongoing humanitarian activities of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in the cyclone affected area.
This information was informed in a press release sent by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society on Monday (June 3).
It is said that yesterday (Sunday) visited the ongoing humanitarian activities of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in Koira Upazila of Khulna District which was affected by Cyclone Remal. During this time, 1 hygiene kit, 1 mosquito net, 2 tarpaulins and 2 jerry cans were distributed to 200 families affected by Cyclone Remal.
Kate Forbes then visited free medical camps and distribution of safe water to people affected by Cyclone Remal.
