The top two teams from the two groups will play in the semi-finals. As Sabinas are taught in groups of three teams, the path to semis is much easier. The next stage of Bangladesh will be confirmed only if they can beat the relatively weak Pakistan. The tournament will be held in Kathmandu from October 17-30.
The men’s two age-group tournaments were drawn before the senior women’s draw. Bangladesh has been placed in Group A in both Under-17 and Under-20 tournaments. Bangladesh’s other three opponents in the U20 group are Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India and Maldives in Under-17. The SAFF U-20 tournament will be held in Nepal from August 16-26, while the U-17 tournament will be held in Bhutan from September 18-26.
