The attack on Trump is a storm of condemnation from world leaders including Sheikh Hasina

There has been a storm of condemnation around the world for the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump while giving a speech at an election rally in Pennsylvania, USA. World leaders including Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned the attack on Saturday. Referring to America as a democratic country, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that such an attack on a presidential candidate in such a country is sad. He said, we definitely condemn such attack on him. America has always prided itself on its democracy. The Prime Minister raised the question, how did such an attack on a presidential candidate and the former president of America happen in a civilized and democratic country like America? “Trump narrowly escaped the attack,” he said. But he got an ear injury. The Democratic Party did not blame the government for the attack. However, President Joe Biden condemned the attack. He said things would have been different in Bangladesh.

Foreign Minister about this incident. Hasan Mahmud said that the attack on Trump was unintended and against the law. Our position is very clear. We do not want any conflict in politics. The foreign minister said that the conflict in US politics was not like that. But the attack on Donald Trump, of course we are deeply concerned and condemn it. There should be no place for conflict in politics. Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed sympathy for Donald Trump. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement, “China is closely monitoring the situation of the shooting of former President Donald Trump.”

UN chief Antonio Guterres has ‘unequivocally’ condemned the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. “Guterres unequivocally condemns such acts of political violence,” UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric said in a statement. He sent greetings to President Trump wishing him a speedy recovery.’

Condemning the incident, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said, “We must stand against any form of violence that challenges democracy.” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that there is no place for political violence in our society.

Condemning the attack, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the attack was alarming.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau felt sick after watching the video of the attack. “Political violence is never acceptable,” he said.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called the shooting of Trump unacceptable. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also condemned the incident.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Trump a friend and wished him a speedy recovery.

In addition, the leaders of various countries including Australia, Italy, Canada, Hungary, Venezuela have already condemned and expressed their grief over this attack.
