Google Calendar can automatically send online meeting invitations through Google Meet. However, those who do not use Google Meet can send Zoom meeting invitations through Google Calendar. Let’s see how to send online meeting invitations by adding Zoom link to Google Calendar. To send a meeting invitation by adding a Zoom link to Google Calendar, you must first access Gmail through any browser from your computer. Also visit the Zoom website and login through the same Gmail account. Then go to the address website and click on the install button to add the Zoom app to Google Workspace. After the ‘Get ready to install’ message appears in the popup box, click on the ‘Continue’ button below and a popup box will appear on the left. There you need to select the Gmail account for Zoom. After selecting the account, tap on the ‘Continue’ button below and click on the ‘Allow’ button. Now, if you see another popup box with the text ‘Zoom for Google Workspace has been installed’, click on the ‘Right’ button. Log in to your Gmail account and click on the ‘Add-ons’ list on the right to see the ‘Zoom’ icon. Now enter the Google Calendar and select the date and time of the meeting and give the title of the meeting. After adding the names of the participants in the ‘Add Guest’ option, click on the ‘Down’ menu next to the ‘Add Google Meet Video Conferencing’ option and add the Zoom meeting option instead of the previously selected Google Meet. A ‘Login’ message will appear next to the video conferencing icon if the account requires login. After clicking there, login to Zoom through the specified Gmail account, enter the e-mail address and password or click on the ‘Google’ icon under the ‘Sign in with’ option. Then select the Gmail address and click on the ‘Continue’ button. Now if you select ‘Link and sign in’ option, a zoom link will be created next to the Google Calendar conference icon. Clicking the ‘Save’ button below will add the Zoom link to Google Calendar.
