Mariner’s big loss is a surprise at the start of the hockey league pc After 27 months, the Premier Division Hockey League started today with a big surprise. Mariner Youngs Club, the current champions of the league, lost on the first day. They lost the first match against Usha 5–1 at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium. A week earlier, Mariner had won the Club Cup, the opening tournament of the season, by defeating Abahani. They defeated Usha 8-4 in the semis.
