The ‘Mega Show’ of T20 World Cup has started in the country of Lewd. Instead of John Wick, James Bond, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Tawheed Hridira will show action with the bat. This time 55 matches will be organized in total 9 venues of USA and West Indies.

However, cricket fans will have an extra eye on the United States. The popular sports of the country are rugby, basketball and baseball. Naturally they lacked a cricket stadium. But within a few months the picture is now completely different. They will host the countries in three venues.

Most talked about is the temporary Nassau County Stadium in New York. It didn’t even exist three months ago. But this is the stadium with the highest capacity of the World Cup. The galleries were created by removing the sides of the Formula One track. Where 34,000 spectators will enjoy the high-voltage match between arch-rivals India-Pakistan. A total of 8 matches including Bangladesh, South Africa will be organized here.

The second venue in the US is Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. Where Bangladesh will start their World Cup mission on June 8 against Sri Lanka. The stadium, built in 2009, played baseball until 2019. In 2020, the ground was leased by American Cricket Enterprise and the journey of cricket began. After that, several matches including the final of Major League Cricket were held here. The capacity of the stadium is 15,000, where the four matches of the group stage will be played.

The last venue in the US is Florida’s Central Broward Park Stadium. The 20,000 capacity cricket stadium is the oldest stadium in the country. Bangladesh has won both of the two matches against the West Indies at this ground. But there are no matches of Shantos in the ground that will host 4 matches of the World Series.

The rest of the World Cup matches will be held at 6 venues in West Indies. Where the country’s oldest stadium, Kensington Oval, will host 9 matches including the final. Its capacity is 28 thousand.

However, Bangladesh will play in the group stage at Arnas Vale Ground in Saint Vincent of the country. The red-greens last played here in 2014. After that no international match was held here. Bangladesh will play against Netherlands on June 13 and Nepal on June 17 in this field. The capacity of this field is 18 thousand.

Apart from this, 6 matches will be held at Providence Stadium, including a semi-final. 8 matches will be played at Sir Viv Richards Stadium, Antigua. Five matches will be played including 6 at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground and one semi-final at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
