The government has imposed an indefinite curfew across the country from 6 pm for the needs of the country.

Today (Sunday, August 4) an indefinite curfew has been imposed across the country from 6:00 p.m., the Ministry of Home Affairs said.

A curfew was imposed across the country from 12 midnight on July 19 due to violence surrounding the quota reform movement. Later curfew was relaxed considering the situation. Curfew relaxation time is gradually increased.

However, due to the non-cooperation movement called by the anti-discrimination activists, a violent situation was again created today, and an indefinite curfew was imposed across the country from 6 pm.
