Two more died of dengue in the country. Two people died of dengue yesterday. In this July, 11 people died of dengue.
This information was known from the news release of the Health Department on Sunday. It is said that the two who died of dengue in the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday Saturday morning to 8 am today Sunday morning) are residents of Chittagong.
According to the notification, 272 patients with dengue have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. Out of this maximum 139 patients have been admitted in different hospitals of Chittagong division. 45 people have been admitted to hospitals in Dhaka South City Corporation area and 40 people have been admitted to hospitals in Dhaka North City Corporation area. Apart from this, 28 people have been admitted in Barisal division, 14 in Khulna division, 13 in Chittagong division, 4 in Dhaka division and 2 in Rajshahi division.
This year, 5 thousand 768 people have been admitted to hospital with dengue so far. 60.7 percent of admitted patients are men and 39.3 percent are women. During this time 55 dengue patients died. About 51 percent of them are women.
