Former US President Donald Trump is accused of bribery by his party, the Republican Party. Republicans are seeking to use their legislative powers and other means to retaliate. Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said this on Fox News Sunday. The House Speaker said his party will use the power it has in Congress to oversee the entire process.

Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, spoke in the same tone. Lara told CNN that Trump supporters will protest by voting at the ballot box in November. When asked what Trump’s supporters should do if he is sent to prison, Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara said this.

Trump himself, however, has proceeded with such a strategy. He has stepped up campaigning and fundraising in response to earlier accusations against him. He did not try to rally his supporters over it. But before that, on January 6, 2021, Trump gathered his supporters on the results of the presidential election, which led to an attack on Capitol Hill.

Former US President Donald Trump was found guilty by a New York court last week. Now the court will announce Trump’s sentence. On this, Trump said, if he is sent to prison or kept under house arrest after being found guilty, he will accept it. But it will be difficult for people to accept.

An interview with Trump was aired on Fox News last Sunday. Trump, the candidate of the Republican Party in this year’s US presidential election, said, “I am not sure if the people will stand for it or not if I am sentenced to prison.” I think it will be difficult for people to accept it. You know, at a certain point, there’s a breaking point.’

The New York court will rule on the case against Trump on July 11. A 12-member jury on Thursday found Trump guilty of falsifying business documents and bribing former porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

Four days after the verdict of the case against Trump was announced, the Republican Party convention. From there, the name of the party’s nominee for the presidential election will be announced.
